Ring in the new year with these festive mocktails, each of which features an herbal twist on a classic cocktail. Enjoy them at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve-or any evening that needs to feel a bit more festive.
Elderberry Spritzer
For immune support* Servings: 1
Ingredients:
- 6 oz. seltzer
- 1 teaspoon Gaia Herbs Black Elderberry Syrup
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 tablespoon muddled blackberries or blueberries (optional)
- 1 mint sprig, for garnish
Directions:
- Add all ingredients (except for berries and mint sprig) to a glass and stir until combined.
- Add berries and top with mint and serve.
Kava Colada
To support calm and relaxation* Servings: 2
Ingredients:
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 3/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 dropperful (30 drops) Gaia Herbs Kava Root Liquid Extract
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean powder
- pinch nutmeg
- pinch sea salt ice (optional)
- coconut sugar for glass rim (optional)
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and serve.
Cinnamon Nog
To support healthy digestion* Servings: 2
Ingredients:
- 1 cup coconut water
- 3/4 cup cashew nut milk (or nut milk of choice, recipe below)
- 1 dropperful (30 drops) Gaia Herbs Certified Organic Cinnamon Bark Liquid Extract
- 1 1/2 pitted medjool dates
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 10 drops Gaia Herbs Ginger Root Liquid Extract
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean powder
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- pinch cloves
- pinch sea salt
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and serve.
Ginseng Ginger-Lime Moscow Mule
For healthy energy and stamina* Serves: 2
Ingredients:
- 12 oz. seltzer water
- 1/4 cup fresh-squeezed lime with pulp
- 4 tablespoons Honey Syrup (recipe below)
- 1 dropperful Gaia Herbs Ginger Root Liquid Extract
- 1 dropperful Gaia Herbs Ginseng Schisandra Supreme Liquid Extract
- lime wedges for garnish ice (optional)
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a jar and stir. Pour over ice in 2 glasses.
Honey Syrup
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons water
Directions:
- In a small saucepan, heat the honey and then add water.
- Stir until combined and let cool. Makes 1/4 cup.
