As Chief Financial Officer, Bill Cave is responsible for the overall financial strategy and direction for Gaia Herbs including the company’s financial reporting, long-range business planning, and program management. With over 30 years of financial expertise, Bill has established a reputation for aligning financial and business metrics to support business strategy and high-growth and has extensive experience growing large and small companies across the automotive, medical, durable goods, and non-durable consumer sectors. Bill is proud to work for Gaia Herbs, the leading herbal supplement company in the United States, which has remained true to its core values since the very beginning, to connect plants and people to nurture health and well-being.

Bobby McConnell is an innovative and versatile consumer demand executive with a successful history of delivering corporate strategy and dynamic growth for startup, mid-size, and Fortune 500 organizations. A strategic business partner with extensive category, channel, and functional breadth, Bobby has a passion for leading impactful change and developing and championing a winning culture. With nearly 20 years of leadership experience in consumer products, Bobby spent five years before joining Gaia Herbs driving transformative growth for organizations in the vitamin, supplement, and herb/botanical sector. When not sharing the Gaia story with anyone and everyone that will listen, Bobby is likely to be found at the ice hockey rink, where he is actively engaged as a youth coach for his three children’s hockey teams.

Brian Traylor is the Chief Operations Officer at Gaia Herbs, bringing his passion for creating an engaging team culture together with his results-oriented problem-solving strategies. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of South Carolina, Brian has a strong diversity in education that balances technical and business concepts and provides him the knowledge necessary to identify and implement robust solutions to a wide variety of operational issues. Brian has been a proven leader at multiple organizational levels for the last 23 years including manufacturing, packaging, warehousing and logistics—providing extensive knowledge and leadership to the entire Gaia Herbs team.

Dr. Jeremy Stewart has been with Gaia Herbs since 2005, after attending the University of Mississippi, where he obtained his PhD in pharmacognosy, the study of chemistry and biology of natural products. In 2007, Jeremy became Gaia’s Chief Scientist, overseeing the analytical laboratory, while developing, updating and reviewing standard operating procedures, assuring Gaia meets or exceeds current standards. In 2012, Jeremy took the title of VP of Scientific Affairs. He expanded Gaia’s quality department and created a research and development department to include some of the most state of the art analytical technologies used in the natural products industry today. He works on a consistent basis with team members throughout Gaia to improve processes and create products of the highest quality in accordance with Gaia Herbs’ commitment to purity, potency, and integrity.

Alison is the Director of Social Impact and Sustainability at Gaia Herbs. She leads the company’s sustainability strategies, including climate action planning, zero waste efforts, carbon farm planning, and the social impact program. Alison has worked with farmers and artisans around the world to advance business strategies that foster both a positive economic impact on rural livelihoods and ecological conservation. After working as an organic farmer in rural West Virginia, Alison worked for the NC State Extension Service in Western North Carolina to advance organic agriculture systems and alternative crop research and marketing for medicinal herbs and native plants of the Southeast. Alison holds a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University. She currently lives outside Asheville, North Carolina, with her husband, baby boy, and the company of two dogs, five goats, and a flock of chickens.
